The IMTU established in the East African city of Dar es Salaam in Tanzania,
opened its doors for higher learning in 1995. A joint initiative of Vignan
Educational Foundation and the Tanzanian Government's Ministry ofScience,
Technology and Higher Education, the IMTU, is an autonomous body recognized
and approved by the Governments of Tanzania and India.
